Corrections log
Every question in the KS3, GCSE and A-level libraries is original and every answer was solved independently before it was published. Mistakes still happen. This page lists each one that was reported or found, what was wrong, and when it was fixed, so you can see the sheets are looked after.
Spotted something? Every topic page has a "Spotted a mistake on this page?" link in its footer, or email joe@robinsontuition.com with the page address and the question number. Fixes usually go live the same day and are listed here.
Fixed
| Date | Where | What was wrong | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3 Year 9, Index laws and standard form; Indices, standard form and surds | Two Year 9 sheets overlapped and both carried the same Earth and Moon question. | The two sheets were merged into one ("Index laws, standard form and surds"); the old addresses redirect. Pythagoras and "Pythagoras and trigonometry" were merged the same way. |
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3 Year 9 answer sheets (indices, index laws, powers) | Two-digit powers such as 212 printed with only the first digit raised. | Answers rewritten so the whole power is raised; sheets rebuilt. |
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3 Year 9, Simplifying, expanding and factorising, question 2 | Asked for "≡ or ≠" between expressions that are equal for some values, so ≠ was not strictly right. | Now asks for ≡ or ≢ (not identical). |
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3 Year 9, Linear inequalities, question 2 | "Smallest whole number" satisfying x > -2 was ambiguous (0 or -1). | Now "smallest integer"; answer -1 unchanged. |
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3 Year 7, Solving equations and rearranging, question 4b | Making x the subject of y = x2 + 4 has two roots; the sheet gave only the positive one. | Question now states x is positive. |
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3 Year 8, Area and circumference of circles, question 2 | Wording about a "scale model" left it unclear which measurement was given. | Reworded as a coaster of diameter 10 cm; answers unchanged. |
| 30 Oct 2026 | KS3, 12 further sheets | Layout slips in the hand-written working (missing equals signs on continuation lines, a tally gate, missing intermediate values) and marks that did not match the number of parts. | Working and marks tidied; no answers changed. |
| 29 Oct 2026 | GCSE and A-level solutions, all topics | The letter x was used as a multiplication sign in some working (for example "50 x 6"). | Replaced with the multiplication sign × in 682 places; sheets rebuilt. |
| 28 Oct 2026 | A-level AS, Circles, question 12 | Wrong final answer. | Corrected after an independent check; two question wordings tidied at the same time. |
| 27 Oct 2026 | GCSE, 19 questions across the library | Minor slips found in an independent check of all 1,273 new questions (no wrong answers). | Wording and working tidied. |
How the sheets are checked
Each new question is written with full working, then solved again blind by an independent checker who sees only the question, and the two answers are compared. Reused questions come from a bank that went through the same process. Diagrams are drawn to the stated measurements where the sheet says so, and marked "not accurately drawn" where it does not. None of this makes the sheets perfect, which is what this page is for.
